Hannah Goranson Associate Lawyer
Hannah earned her Bachelor of Laws (honours) from University College London’s faculty of law, in London, U.K. While studying at UCL, Hannah actively participated in and judged negotiation and debating competitions. She was also involved with researching and presenting on legal issues as a member of the Grassroots Human Rights Project and the Transition Mentors Program. During the summer, she worked as a legal student at a leading law firm in the United Kingdom, where she handled a wide range of cases including employment and human rights issues.
Upon returning to Canada, Hannah joined HC LLP in 2018, first as student, before being called to the Ontario Bar in 2021. Since joining the firm, Hannah has assisted clients on a wide variety of civil litigation and estate matters, including advisory work and litigation matters before Ontario’s courts and tribunals. She has also presented on and assisted in preparing educational papers on various civil litigation topics.
Outside of work, Hannah is an avid long-distance runner, and a general outdoor enthusiast, enjoying hiking, skiing, and camping. When she is not outside, she can be found in the barn spending time training and riding her horses.
